It's been 12 (long) months in the making and our new (19) concealer shades are here! While this is good news, we wanted to share our thought process behind the launch.
Since we launched, inclusivity has been our top priority. While inclusivity has become more of a trend this past year, we pushed the focus of inclusivity through our values. I remember having my interview with Rachel (our founder) and her expressing to me the need to expand the concealer range. She said, "Everyone should feel like they have a seat at the table." Talk about inspiring!
I started in the middle of the concealer planning and was stunned at the new shade range. Before the new shades launched, I had to mix tan and medium for my perfect match. Having to mix shades to get the perfect match is not only bothersome, but it's also embarrassing.
Thankfully, Rachel already had thought about this and made it a reality. The last few months included a photo shoot, marketing creations, and break-downs, but we made it.
We will continue expanding our shade range because we have ways to go. However, we are forever grateful to have you a part of our Subtl Beauty family.
